Let’s make Europe Green, Deal?
Following this motto we travel across Europe to make participating cities aware, how they can efficiently reach the ambitious climate goals agreed within the European Green Deal.
After the successful kick-off of the #GoGreen campaign at the ITS World Congress in Lisbon, we got the opportunity to join the ERTICO Academy training for SAENA (Saxon energy agency) from June 5-6.
Together with leading experts, we collaboratively took the chance to investigate the question how cooperative, intelligent transport systems (C-ITS) can be further initiated, how it can be made future-proof and how it can contribute to sustainably reduce emissions and air pollution.
In the course of this event, we also demonstrated the SWARCO Meta City VR-experience to representatives of two Green Deal cities, Dresden and Leipzig, giving them a sneak peek on how our products & solutions can help them tackle four major pain points of current day-to-day traffic (urban traffic congestion, air pollution, scarcity of parking spaces and vulnerable road users).
Being passionate about creating a greener future, we are still excited about the positive as well as future-oriented mindset which came along with the hosts and all the participants, and happy that we got the opportunity to exchange sophisticated knowledge connected to mobility management.
