What you will do
We have a vacancy for a Production Team Leader to join our team at our Melsonby (Electrical Production) site. The role will be to lead, motivate and manage the daily team activities ensuring alignment with weekly production plans set by the Production Manager. Communicating company goals effectively and driving continuous improvement projects.
The successful candidate will also oversee Traffic Controller production, testing and quality control. Taking ultimate responsibility for the team’s safety and quality performance as well. Championing company standards and culture and ensure the on-time delivery of products to our customers.
Profile
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years hands-on experience in electro-mechanical production environment.
- Proven logical and creative thinking in a supervisory/team leadership role especially in a production setting.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or equivalent training.
- Planning and managing design tasks and documenting processes.
- Creative problem solving with an aptitude for researching, identifying and applying different technologies/methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Package.
