What you will do
We have a vacancy for a Financial Controller, to join our very busy and growing team here at SWARCO UK & Ireland. You will join the Finance team – and report into the Finance Director. This will be a broad role responsible for delivering statutory and management accounts, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring all internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met.
What we are looking for
- Working within a motivated finance team to add value and drive the business forward, maximise EBIT and operational excellence
- Delivering month end and year end accounts, annual audit, statutory accounts and annual corporation tax workings,
- Reviewing Monthly balance sheet accounts and risk therein, including calculating stock/receivables impairment,
- Supporting weekly payrun and monthly payroll review and sign off,
- Cashflow and Net Working Capital management,
- Business partner for indirect cost centres including budget preparation support,
- Knowledge of FRS 102, IFRS 15, IFRS 16
- Day to day management of accounting and transactional finance team (x7)
Profile
What we are looking for
- Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA with at least 5 years experience in a similar Senior Finance role.
- Delivering to tight deadlines including VAT preparations, budgets, forecast and cashflow reporting.
- Delivery of management and statutory accounts
- Managing external audit process
- SAP S4HANA desirable not mandatory
