MyCity Solutions

SWARCO MyCity Monitoring LITE is a simple monitoring solution for your ITC controllers.
Monitoring, supervision and management of you traffic equipment. Flexible and scalable solution which can be used for all sizes of applications - from single intersections to large city areas.


SWARCO MyCity (Sign) Monitoring is an extensive unit monitoring and qualitative analysis of the traffic situation. 24/7 powered cloud-based solution supporting different devices in order to enable access via mobile phones and tablets. Standardized system with customization options for each client. Integration options for external systems and various interface standards of the TLC control units.

SWARCO MyCity Sign Manager adds command sending, global commands, command scheduler, group control and coordination (e.g. green wave) to monitoring. Raw data collection and evaluation of travel time, vehicle count and air quality. Strategic decisions enabled by command hierarchies and smart workflow & site management. Manual programme switching possible.​​​​​​​

SWARCO MyCity Adaptive is a rule based algorithmic, automated solution to choose between or modify the existing programs in an intersection, for a group of intersections along a road section or in an area/district, based on traffic detection with inductive loops, cameras or other counting devices connected to the TLC of the intersections.


MyCity Add-ons tailored to your needs

By using MyCity add-on integrations such as the Strategy Manager you can now monitor congestion, journey time and air quality in your city, to update your traffic signs real-time, using dynamic data. This will direct drivers to an alternate route until air quality or congestion improves again.

SWARCO MyCity Strategy Manager helps you to solve your challenges with mobility changes in your city such as air pollution. With the Strategy Manager you can use dynamic data from your Traffic Management system such as journey time, high levels of congestion at an intersection, and air quality information, to update your Variable Message Signs which you can use to re-direct traffic to other locations, and advise drivers of the altered journey time along the way until the air quality improves again.

The MyCity Strategy Manager is an advanced tool to set up rules including a special trigger based on even various sets of input data ("if") incl. timing and priority level, and a set of commands to be sent to different devices ("then") like signs, Traffic Light Controllers or anything inside or outside the Traffic Management system.

With SWARCO MyCity Journey Times (Floating Car Data) you can calculate travel times between certain places on the network. Floating Car Data (FCD) based on empirical values as well as physical sensors (Bluetooth, or connected cloud solution like TomTom or Google).

This functionality visualizes and reports on the extracted data from connected detectors regarding average, minimum or maximum journey times and gives you an overview of vehicle speed and waiting times. It monitors the status of vehicles moving on a particular set of paths or sectors of paths. MyCity identifies which routes have the most and the least traffic delays and visualizes this data in real-time with color-coding on a map.

MyCity Journey Times (FCD) is a possible add-on feature for the MyCity Sign Manager (TMS) platform.

SWARCO Parking Guidance System (PGS). Based on occupancy measurements in parking facilites, signs showing directions to these facilities will be updated based on rules created for different time intervals of certain days.
