Technical Training

Electronics Technician for Operating Technology

YOUR TASKS

  • You  help to set up new plants and support maintenance, conversion and repair on site.

  • You will pass through all technical departments of our company, e.g. development, production, traffic engineering or technical service).

ORGANIZATIONAL TOPICS

  • Prerequisites: Qualified secondary school leaving certificate, intermediate school leaving certificate; technical understanding, diligence and organisational skills, manual dexterity and sure instinct
  • Duration of training: 3 ½ Years
  • Start date: 1 August or 1 September
  • Theoretical & practical training phases go hand in hand
  • Some phases of the training are implemented in cooperation with a network partner (except Gaggenau site).


Dual Study Program: Electrical Engineering/Automation


YOUR TASKS

  • During your studies, you will alternate between the DHBW and our company every three months.
  • You will mainly work in our development department, but will also get to know the traffic engineering and technical service departments.
  • During your time in the individual areas, you will be given projects and/or problems by us, which you will deal with independently and, of course, solve with support.

ORGANISATIONAL TOPICS:

  • Prerequisites: General or subject-related higher education entrance qualification. For admission requirements with other educational qualifications, please refer to the DHBW homepage. 
  • Length of study: 6 semesters 
  • Start date: Winter semester (start on 1 September: internship in a company, from 1 October: studies at the DHBW) 
  • Dual full-time study: alternation of three-month phases of theory (university) and practice (SWARCO).
  • Partner universities: DHBW Stuttgart


Commercial Apprenticeship

YOUR TASKS

  • During your studies, you will alternate between the DHBW and our company every three months.
  • You will go through the following areas: Finance and Accounting, Human Resources Management, Marketing and Sales, Materials Management and Production Management.
  • During your time in the individual areas, you will be given projects and/or problems by us, which you will deal with independently and, of course, solve with support.

  • Length of study: 6 semesters

Industrial Clerk

 

YOUR TASKS

  • You will pass through all commercial departments (e.g. sales, purchasing, human resources).
  • In order to understand our products, you will also pass through the technical departments (e.g. development or production).

 

ORGANISATIONAL TOPICS

  • Requirements: At least a very good secondary school leaving certificate (very good grades in mathematics and German), enjoyment of commercial activities, reliability, organisational skills, ability to work in a team.
  • Duration of training: 2, 2 ½ or 3 years (depending on previous education)
  • Start date: 1 September
  • Theoretical and practical training phases go hand in hand
