SWARCOPLAST G701
High-Performance Cold Plastic

SWARCOPLAST G701 sets new standards for thick-layer cold-plastic road markings. Developed from a combination of premium raw materials, the system delivers outstanding retroreflection at night and in wet conditions, as well as an exceptionally long functional service life. This MMA-based cold-plastic marking system is therefore ideally suited for high-traffic roads (e.g. motorways), intersections, and accident blackspots.
The solvent-free, multi-component reactive system cures into a dimensionally stable, thermoset marking. Special reflective glass beads (Class B according to EN 1423) are used as premix and drop-on beads. These particularly robust, scratch-resistant micro glass beads feature a higher refractive index of nd > 1.7.
Through the targeted use of premix beads, traffic wear continuously exposes new beads at the surface—an effect previously known mainly from thermoplastic markings. By incorporating a defined proportion into the total mass, consistently high retroreflection values can thus be maintained over the entire service life.
This sustained performance is impressively confirmed by BASt extended-service testing: even after 12 million wheel passes, the system still achieves very good results (traffic classes R5 and RW5). SWARCOPLAST G701 is therefore recommended wherever maximum safety and cost efficiency are required.
Product features at a glance:
