The past few months have been full of challenges..
Because of Covid-19, many events had to be canceled, such as our career fairs and even many of our training courses. Events like the annual in-person Christmas party or our company outing fell through. Many of our employees are working from home and can only meet virtually. Personal contact with customers or applicants can only take place to a limited extent.
Despite the current situation, we can look back on a very successful business year. And we are still growing. Take a look at our current vacancies. Working at SWARCO means being part of a company where things are always happening.

# Modern working environment
The team at SWARCO's Unterensingen site in Germany moved into new, modern office premises last year. Modern facilities. Space to design your own working environment.
Even our new colleagues feel at home right away. From here, we distribute and develop transport technology solutions for the German market. Want to join us?
# Performance is rewarded
With the Manfred Swarovski Award, we thank our colleagues every year for their special commitment. And this pays off. Last year, the award - which is named after our company founder - went to a colleague in Romania and a colleague in Italy.
As a thank you for their personal commitment, SWARCO sponsors the colleagues to study business at an elite university. Where exactly they go is up to the employees themselves, the sky is the limit. As part of SWARCO's talent development program, we demonstrate that a working environment in which employees can develop is very important to us.
# Austria's Leading Companies
We are particularly pleased to receive awards as a group and as an employer. This shows us that we're on the right path. Last year, SWARCO was ranked second in the category "Internationally operating companies" in the ranking of Austria's Leading Companies in Tyrol.
This award, presented by Credit Protection Association KSV 1870, PwC Austria, and the press, evaluated the companies' performance over the past three business years. We owe this great success to our employees and, of course, to our customers.
# Further education is close to our hearts
There are many factors that contribute to our success as a growing international company, but none are as important as our staff. And we are not just saying that.
To ensure the advancement of our employees and to promote continuous learning within the company, we have created the SWARCO Academy. In addition to strengthening the skills and further training of our employees, the search for talent for management positions is a key objective of the Academy.
Currently, the SWARCO Academy takes place as a virtual event. As soon as the situation allows, the focus will be on personal meetings and networking.
# New paths
Networking and information are of particular concern to us. Even in COVID times. During online breakfast meetings we can regularly exchange ideas and learn about new developments at SWARCO through interesting presentations. We have also held Christmas parties virtually around the world.
We are looking ahead and we are curious what will survive of working from home and web meetings...one thing is already clear to us...the world is becoming more colorful and the working day is changing. And we are becoming even more flexible.
For us, personal contact is very important. Events and trade fairs are the occasions where we have the time to talk to applicants. We look forward to the time when this is possible again. Soon we can meet again in person at events like career fairs, live training, company parties, or the SWARCO Christmas party.
