Thermoplastic

SWARCOTHERM HP 62 / HP 62E Thermoplastic

Thermoplastic is a hot-applied marking material that creates highly reflective road markings with a long service life. Thermoplastic is based on hydrocarbon resins and contains a high proportion of pre-mixed glass beads. Since thermoplastics have to be melted before being applied to the road surface, special marking machines with cookers are required. There are different application methods depending on the desired final result. The PE bags in which the material is packed are part of the formula and are melted down so that no waste is produced during marking.

Thermoplastic enables high-quality road markings and impresses above all with increased durability, excellent reflection values by day, night and wetness and offers additional possibilities for increasing road safety, for example in the form of audible and perceptible markings.
