Epoxy two component system

SWARCO VICAS offers the following epoxy products:

PRIMER

A performant two component coating product, used on metallic surfaces as first layer, in a wide range of painting systems (epoxy, polyurethane, alkyd melamine, alkyd, alkyd urethane), forming an excellent quality anticorrosive film (very good adherence, flexibility, hardness and impact resistance), ensuring the adherence between the surface and the next layer in the painting system. Can be used for road vehicles finishing. Air dry (23±2°C) 24 hours (4 hours for the zinc rich primer) or oven (80°C) 1 hour.

Component A

White, gray, oxide red, yellow

Mixture: component A:component B=100:18

Zinc rich

Mixture: component A:component B=100:7,5

Component B: Hardener

PRIME

Used for the impregnation of concrete surfaces before applying the epoxy enamel, with the following advantages: stabilizes and waterproofs the surface, improves the enamel film adherence, reduces the enamel consumption. Air dry (23±2°C) 6 hours.

Component A

Transparent

Mixture: component A:component B=100:18

Component B: Hardener

PUTTY S3200

Used for levelling the metallic, concrete and masonry surfaces, for finishing the autovehicles bodies, for machines and equipment, as part of the painting systems. Air dry (23±2°C) 24 hours or oven (80°C) 1 hour (film thickness 0.5 mm). Forms hard films, resistant, adherent, flexible, impact resistant.

REPAIR PUTTY - ECHIPLAST

Used in electrotechnics for electrical engines or other parts in movement (impellers, turbines), for different kinds of sealings and repairs. The product is cold water and hot water resistant (0-100°C), oil products (gasoline, mineral oil), antifreeze in cooling circuits, etc. The product hardens in 2 hours at 23±2°C or 15 minutes at 80±2°C.

Component A+B, mixture ratio 100:25

INTERMEDIATE PAINT

Used as intermediate layer in coating and epoxy protection systems, in order to reduce the enamel consumption. Forms an excellent quality film (adherence, flexibility, hardness, impact resistance), ensuring the adherence between the primed surface and the next layer in the painting system. Air dry (23±2°C) 24 hours or oven (80°C) 1 hour.

Component A

Gray, oxide red

Mixture: component A:component B=100:27

Componenta B: Hardener

ENAMEL

Used as final layer for the protective coating of primed metallic surfaces, concrete surfaces (including floors) and masonry (including facades and mounted ornaments and fittings)in industrial and chemical agressive environments, naval, railway and food industry etc. The high gloss film is smooth, hard and has a very good adherence, flexibility and impact resistance. Air dry (23±2°C) 24 hours or oven (80°C) 1 hour.

Silver

Mixture: component A:component B=100:56

Component B: Hardener

VARNISH

Used as final layer for the protective coating of metallic surfaces primed or painted with enamel, concrete surfaces (including floors) and masonry, in industrial and chemical agressive environments, naval, railway and food industry etc. The high gloss film is smooth, hard and has an excellent adherence, flexibility and impact resistance. Air dry (23±2°C) 24 hours or oven (80°C) 1 hour.
