JCT Traffic Signal Symposium & Exhibition
Traffic Signal Symposium & Exhibition is down the road
We are looking forward to seeing you in the Nottingham Trent University (City Campus) on the 11th and 12th September. We will welcome you on stand A2 where we will be showcasing our PTC3 Traffic Controller, Signal Head, RGB VMS and MVAS (Moveable Vehicle Activated Signage).
We are also delighted to announce we will be presenting two whitepapers as below:
John Ball, Senior Product Manager Technology at Swarco will presenting Experiences with ImFlow in Cheshire East - challenges and successes alongside Jason Hole from Cheshire East Council.
Cheshire East Council engaged SWARCO to deploy its latest adaptive traffic optimiser, ImFlow, at numerous problematic junctions, previously under Fixed Time, Vehicle Actuated or MOVA control. How much has ImFlow improved the situation and what challenges have they faced along the way?
Andrea Newman, Product Manager MyCity at SWARCO will be presenting a journey from Parking Guidance into UTMC.
SWARCO have been working with several customers to support with the migration from legacy parking guidance systems to MyCity, a fully integrated UTMC compatible system program which enables the customers to expand their ITS capability and connect other data sources such as air quality monitoring devices, journey time devices, floating car data, weather station devices, traffic light controllers with remote monitoring and much more.
SWARCO have supported this phased approach by offering to their customers a two-to-six-week pilot of the MyCity Urban Mobility Platform, giving their customers exposure to the system and providing user functionality updates and suggestions to further support their use of the system.
SWARCO are continuously working with their customers to understand what ITS equipment they are currently using or data already collecting at the council, information that can be used to help with traffic congestion or provide information to civilians travelling on the roads. SWARCO interfaces are agnostic into the MyCity Urban Mobility Platform, and they keep working with their customers enabling them to use existing equipment into the system for a complete ITS solution.
