LIMBURGER LACKFABRIK SEEKS QUICK RESUMPTION OF FULL PRODUCTION CAPACITY

04/27/2011

Following the explosion accident during cleaning work at a paint tank on 20 April, in which four persons suffered partly severe burns, LIMBURGER LACKFABRIK in Diez now concentrates on resuming full production as quickly as possible.

"One of the injured persons was already released from hospital, whereas the conditions of the other three are according to the circumstances“, reports Dr. Harald Guder from the paint factory’s management team.
The investigations into the cause of the accident are underway. Parallely, clean-up and repair works have started. The production of small lots and special products already recommenced. Shortly, the production of coldplastics will follow. As far as high solid paints are concerned, LIMBURGER LACKFABRIK as a company of the SWARCO Group can rely on production capacities of sister company SWARCO VICAS.

"We kindly ask our customers to continue considering our materials in biddings, as we will be able to stepwise provide full supply within a reasonable period of time“, is Harald Guder confident that Germany’s market leader for liquid road marking materials can rapidly return to the usual supply and service quality.
