SWARCO HAS SIGNED SERVICE CONTRACT IN FINLAND

SWARCO FINLAND OY and Vaasa city have signed a service and maintenance contract for the city traffic management system. The contract is the first with Vaasa city, and Ralf Petterson, Managing Director for SWARCO FINLAND OY, considers this an important milestone.

SWARCO will be responsible for the service and maintenance of the 49 intersections and the EC-Trak central traffic management system. SWARCO has established an office in Vaasa to be able to react fast and efficiently to all requirements. “Establishing an own office and a competent service organization is vital for a proper and fast reacting service activity. I believe that our experience in traffic management will guarantee that the traffic lights will work well in future in Vaasa”, concludes Mr. Pettersson .
