SWARCO FUTURIT AT "LONG NIGHT OF RESEARCH"

This question attracted visitors of the „Lange Nacht der Forschung“ on November 7th at the ASFINAG traffic management center in Inzersdorf. As member of the Austrian Traffic Telematics Cluster (ATTC), SWARCO FUTURIT allowed further insight into LED-based traffic signalling.
Motorists usually know variable message signs on highways only from passing underneath. The visitors at the SWARCO stand had the chance to have a closer look at such signs with their LED optic and numerous display options. People were surprised to see what the interior of a modern traffic light looks like and which development efforts are necessary to create it. Mr. Preuss - D-A-CH-region salesman from SWARCO FUTURIT - informed the visitors about innovative trends, latest technologies and possibilities to further reduce CO₂ emissions.
