In between two official visits regarding the 200th birthday anniversary of the Hungarian composer Franz Liszt, Austrian President Dr. Heinz Fischer and his wife Margit visited the SWARCO production site in Neutal, Burgenland. They were accompanied by a political delegation including Burgenland's Governor Hans Niessl, Gerhard Steier, the President of Burgenland's local parliament, Peter Rezar and Helmut Bieler, members of the provincial government and Neutal's mayor Erich Trummer.
After a brief culinary welcome, the visitors were informed about the wide range of activities of the SWARCO Group and shown around the site where they got a detailed impression of the production of injection moulding parts, signals, variable message signs and LED street lights. President Fischer was not only interested in the technical aspects but also praised SWARCO FUTURITS's strong export orientation and pointed out the 40th anniversary of Austria's diplomatic relations to China. In May, the President is paying an official visit to Russia to which he will be accompanied by SWARCO.
