Variable message signs
Prism signs are often used as variable message signs in traffic management and parking guidance systems. Prism signs can change the shown image in full or only partly. The image is changed by turning some or all seamlessly connected prisms by means of a wear-free driving mechanism. The images are shown on a uniform and flat surface much like a conventional traffic sign.
